Port harcourt risk at flooding as Rainy seasons intensifies- Nyeche.

As the rainy season intensifies, so also is the concern about flooding among residents in some parts of the Port Harcourt metropolis.

The lawmaker representing Port Harcourt Constituency One, VICTORIA NYECHE is also concerned about the trend.


NYECHE is calling on the Rivers State Ministry of Environment to adopt measures to tackle the problem in line with the Port Harcourt drainage master plan.


The lawmaker also advised residents of Port Harcourt State Constituency One to make sure that the drainage around their neighbourhood are not blocked with wastes.



VICTORIA NYECHE is a member of the APC and represents Port Harcourt Constituency One in the Rivers State House of Assembly.
