A member of the Rivers state House of Assembly is advocating a legislation to address the challenges faced by children with special needs in the state.
The lawmaker representing Ogu-Bolo State Constituency, EVANS BIPI made the call in a motion during plenary yesterday.
BIPI suggested the establishment of at least one special school for such category of children in each of the three senatorial districts of the state.
Correspondent VICTOR EZEAMA reports that the Rivers State House of Assembly delayed debate on the motion and adjourned sitting till next week.
