President BUHARI has defended his recent appointments which critics say purportedly favours persons from the northern part of the country.
President BUHARI said he is sensitive to the diversity of Nigeria and he intends to apply Federal Character in filling up six thousand available positions.

The Acting National Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, AMINA ZAKARI has been speaking on the controversy generated by her appointment by President MUHAMMADU BUHARI.
You will recall that the Peoples’ Democratic Party has criticised the appointment of ZAKARI, stressing that it would not accept the result of an election it lost, if it was conducted with ZAKARI as the head of the commission.

President BUHARI departed Nigeria yesterday for the US with thirty three-man strong delegation, including immediate-past Governor of Rivers State, ROTIMI AMAECHI, for a four day visit.
