The new leadership of the Rivers State chapter of the Actors Guild of Nigeria is taking steps to sanitize the film industry in the state.

These include ensuring that movie practitioners and those aspiring to play in the sector are given the opportunities to acquire the right knowledge to be able to do well.

State Chairman of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, BARTHOLOMEW AGUUGO said the executive under his watch intends to leave behind worthy legacies at the end of their tenure.

BARTHOLOMEW AGUUGO also disclosed that the AGN in River State has secured the support of the University of Port Harcourt for the training of its members and other members of the public who are interested in becoming players in the movie industry.
